died from
ischemic heart disease after averaging more than 80 hours of
overtime per month, in the two months prior to his death.
Apparently this phenomenon called "karoshi"
has been acknowledged by the Japanese Health Ministry and has been
steadily on the rise since first recognized in 1987.
